Douglas DC-4 C-GCTF Resin Model


This is our newest model airplane, the Douglas DC-4 in Buffalo Airways colors.
The DC-4 is designed to haul up to 20.000 lbs of cargo and has a range of 4000 miles. In 1948/49 the military version of this type of plane , the C-54 was used during the Berlin airlift hauling coal and food. It became known as the" Candy Bomber"since they had dropped about 23 tons of chocolate, gum and other candy over Berlin.

The resin model is scale 1:125 and made by Herpa.
It measures about 10 inches nose to tail and about 11 inches wing tip to wing tip
Snap fit construction makes it easy to assemble .
